My poem “Livery of Seisin” has just appeared in current issue of 45th Parallel, the literary journal of the creative writing program at Oregon State University. You can check out the current issue here.
This poem was unusual for me, in that I wrote the very first draft of it probably 25 years ago, while I myself was an undergraduate and involved in creative writing. I dusted it off a year ago and substantially revised and rewrote a lot of it. Half is probably from that original draft, and half new. A lot of the new stuff I think I could only have added after living another two decades.
Many thanks to Poetry Editor Alyssa Cook and the rest of 45th Parallel. The issue looks fantastic!
